Baby Snake has cloudy eyes! His first shed (with me) is forthcoming. A milestone for every parent! I will keep it forever.

Perhaps we will put it under his rock when he goes to sleep & the Shed Fairy can have left a mouse in its place in the morning!pic.twitter.com/xfBIdob9Rt

He's an ungrateful snake.Huge tank, many expensive things to hide in, climb on & bask under & he lives in one corner under a shoebox lid.

No! He's still a sweetie. Just likely to get a little tense & hiss at random objects & everything. We can relate, surely?!

Yes. They are fluffy sadistic psychopaths with big eyes whilst snakes are scaly little sweethearts with tiny eyes & a bad rep.

Bonnie *should* have been a snake: I went with the lads and their mum to the RSPCA to help them look for a dog.

At the time, I was trying to decide which of three black hooded pythons I would be welcoming into my abode.

I went with the lads and their mum three times to the RSPCA to look for said dog to enter their lives.

After looking at the dogs, we'd go to the cat shelter. I'd had enough looking at the stage so sat down in a chair.

Shortly after sitting in the chair, a cat jumped on my lap. I'm not really a cat person (nor a dog person, for that matter).

This happened three Sundays in a row. The Monday after the third visit, I spotted a cat on the work bulletin board.
