In my defense, its usually coz I'm getting a lot of tweets from unreasonable, dishonest ppl at same time but I should ignore those people.

Too patient with ppl arguing in bad faith. Too impatient with sincere ppl I don't understand immediately. Everyone should wear signs.
-
This is why I mute a lot. It takes me so long to realise someone isn't sincere or honest, I don't want to waste that time on them again
-
It's hard to find a balance and a conversation worth having, but ignoring problems doesn't make them go away.
@HPluckrose -
It does when its people who won't have an honest conversation trying to make me have a conversation with them.
-
Learning to ignore people who won't discuss in good faith is important. I don't owe everyone my time & they don't owe me theirs.
-
Maybe. Blocking Trump voters didn't help. They still swallowed the BS, sadly. But I don't know if I could have helped that.
@HPluckrose -
No. That's the problem. Blocking people for different ideas. Blocking/muting for not discussing ideas honestly is different.

I think it's perfectly OK to shut down some kinds of obvious bullshit. There's no talking to some people.
-
Yeah but I just made a sincere person apologise for bothering me & being incoherent by being impatient. :(
-
Oh. Well I've been arguing with morons on the internet for so long that I'd call that collateral damage. Regrettable, but meh.
