I wouldn't regard talking about 'basket-weaving at medical conventions' as a free speech issue though
But the comparison is a logical one. Is it OK to ban people from the country if ppl in the country are what we'd ban. Yes.

No but I'd support not letting them in in the first place to an extent where they'd become a majority.
