.@LotakX Men &women have different sins.Women-verbal abuse, vanity, fickleness. Men- violence, intellectual pride, forbidden knowledge seeking
One thing Xtianity got wrong was idea that women had a higher sex drive & more inclined to casual sex. Paranoia

More helpful to see what they saw in terms of women being more emotionally driven & men more intellectually driven.
-
Men wanted to know things & show they know things & women being more abt exploring how people feel about things.
-
Obv huge overgeneralisation but concise exchange of facts to inform action vs empathy to keep a group together 1/2

are likely to have been selected for differently re: men & women & are seen in different communication styles today.
-
Too much for me to handle =( Seems sexist (today) to suggest that men and women analyse things differently.
-
Nature is sexist. Women are stronger verbally & socially, men spatially & mechanically on average.
-
Of course I agree with you on this, but today, suggesting that men and women are different is sexist.
-
Incidentally, always sexist against women.

With the sexual liberation of women in the 60s/70s, they may be proved right. Would need to see how compares.
-
No. Women are still less inclined to casual sex. Its a strategy that favours men, not women in evolutionary terms.
-
Best evidence is comparing the sex lives of people who don't have to factor in opposite sex - gay men & lesbians.
-
Gay men more likely to engage in casual sex than lesbians? Interesting.
