But then the problems are poverty, lack of opportunity & coercion rather than sex-work which will probably always exist.

Because people will always want sex & other people will always choose to supply that demand.

I've known four sex-workers & none of them were poor. They're almost certainly an exception to the rule but this shows its not going away.

One 'struggling' (middle-class) gay male writer chose to earn a living that way to have more time to write. One straight male actor too.

So even tho I get behind concerns abt poverty & grooming & lack of opportunity, I don't think sex-work inherently exploitative or going away
