This blog says actually what I think - atheists should stop the aggressive tactics & understand the fallibility of human nature in religion. https://twitter.com/HPluckrose/status/805832229763039233 …

I respect all belief systems - whether I believe they are right or not. I respect Jesus as a potentially inspiring person.
-
I simply do not respect the atrocities committed in the name of religion or commandments that proclaim violence & suppression.
-
We can certainly identify good & bad bits in religion but I can't respect faith-based thinking or unsubstantiated claims.
-
Which I agree with. But as a skeptical atheist, I think religion is intellectually a weak opponent. It is very easy to refute.
-
But we see now the uprising of non-religious belief systems that require scrutiny (postmodernism, GMO-opposition,..).
-
The books and essays of the "new atheists" (like Dawkins, Harris, Dennet and the Silverman you reviewed) cannot interest me.
-
The books of Jonathan Haidt, Steven Pinker, Matt Ridley, Frans de Waal and others are the future of skeptical atheism.
-
They give more understanding on human behaviour, morality and religion that should inspire the next generation atheists.

Are you telling me there are people who don't know that?
