@Liam_Smith1990 So no, I don't think you should for that, but doing it in a mosque during their prayers..That's a different line @HPluckrose

If we want to be able to say things which upset, eg religious ppl, have to defend offending other 'sacred' ideas

Do you not see a difference between posting/discussing/protesting, and chanting hate speech at a remembrance ceremony?

Yes but both should still be legal. Being able to protest should be legal.

Which I agree with. I think the article you mention goes beyond that though, it was harassment. It was intended that way.

It didn't target an individual but a ceremony. As Kevin said:https://twitter.com/KevinOnEarth/status/803593361315794945 …

"a calculated and deliberate insult to the dead". Perhaps that's what they feel about the #Poppy Parade. Subjective.

Then protest Britan's involvment. Protest the people who put the soldiers there. Not the soldiers who don't have a choice.

The example doesn't matter. Ppl cld be protesting remembrance day or carrots being orange. Its whether they have right to

If there was a ceremony celebrating people who'd killed lots of Brit soldiers, I'd want to be able to protest it.

No, I wouldn't. People can still say that certain people should go to hell tho. Religious ppl tend to think this. Then we argue.
