So what you said is moot. Much better to be upper class woman than working class man (WCM). Also, when were WCMs able to vote?

No, it's not moot. Gender inequality doesn't become irrelevant coz class inequality affected quality of life more.

People should be MUCH more critical of class inequality than gender. A WCM had a terrible quality of life in Victorian England.

Be critical of both, but class was by far the overarching decider in quality of life back in pre-1900s.

My quality of life is better than that of a Middle Eastern man. I'm still concerned for middle-eastern women's equality.

And if some1 took my right to vote, enter professions, make my own decisions & earn equal pay away again, I'd still address this.1/2

Even if my quality of life was still better than a working class man's.

My mother spent the 60s trying to get Lloyd's to open accountancy exams to women & the 70s trying to get women access to mortgages.

My point was re the vote. The inequality still existed well into the 70s with regards to equal pay / professions.

Well, the vote is just one issue.
