No, it's not moot. Gender inequality doesn't become irrelevant coz class inequality affected quality of life more.

People should be MUCH more critical of class inequality than gender. A WCM had a terrible quality of life in Victorian England.

Fortunately, people can be critical of both.

Be critical of both, but class was by far the overarching decider in quality of life back in pre-1900s.

Looks like wasn't till 1884 3rd Reform Act when ALL law abiding, sane men could vote, just 44 years before all women could.
