This is difficult to address coz I immediately get accused of wanting unfair privileges & freedom from personal responsibility for women. No

As discussed at length many times, I don't think women have the right to hit men & do think everyone has the right to defend themselves.
-
What disturbs me is the gloating, the glee, the feeling of backlash, revenge, retribution. This is far from healthy & bodes no good.
-
Yeah. It's a grim signpost.

Who the hell are you following? Never seen this.

-
Its coming into the anti-SJW circles. Becoming a thing. See how many 'men hit women back' compilations are on Youtube.
-
It worries me because I haven't seen much genuine misogyny lately. Its a reaction to the misandry we see quite commonly.
-
I have no sympathy for a woman who hits a man and is hit back. Tho not my idea of entertainment.
-
A serious response which accepts that violence is always bad, right to defend self etc does not trouble me. Glee at injury does.
-
When you're setting it to music, something is wrong. Must be careful attributing thingness to Internet age revealed dumbassery.
-
Definitely a fringe thing but it worries me.https://twitter.com/HPluckrose/status/799663892716666880 …

As your devil's advocate, I understand a certain shadenfreude when taking this kind of thing nto account https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOyrYThlOag …

I've seen this. Most unfair. Needs addressing. Not the issue here. I'm disturbed by hatred & enjoyment of seeing women get hurt.
-
Not more so than I am by hatred of men tho.

I'm disturbed by the number of videos of women hitting men accompanied by gleeful commentary that find their way into my feeds.
-
Me too. This is healthy. Dislike seeing people get hurt. Argue for the right to self-defence & against double standards

The gleeful commentary is due to us constantly being told by people that we shouldn't hit women because... Because what?
-
It saddens me that a gender inequality which needs addressing & which I do address leads ppl to enjoy watching women get hurt.
-
Agreed. But I think people like seeing others get their comeuppance, male or female... schadenfreude I guess.
