I don't disagree with those ideals necessarily. But, unfettered human rights, equality & freedom is unrealistic.

Well, they're not unfettered. Equality is qualified as equal opportunities & rights for ppl of all races, genders & sexualities

We have equal pay laws. You cannot pay someone less because of their gender. 'Interpretation' doesn't change that.
