I came to terms with loss of immortality by realizing everybody has effect on others. Diffuse, but real.

I had a grandpa die when I was like 5 or 6. Talked to him right before. Don't remember it well though.

I was 6. No talk of afterlife in my house. 'Died' meant 'gone' & I couldn't comprehend it.
