Have you come to terms with mortality, tweeps? Or do you accept it but think it best not to think about it? Or have transhumanist hopes?

well, obviously I haven't figured it out yet. I'm rather finite.
-
I don't even know what I don't know! I find it hard to get into things which aren't about people and how they think.
-
and either way, our consciousness won't know the difference.
-
Then it doesn't really happen to 'us.'
-
I don't know. Perhaps price of consciousness is realizing that it will cease. Would you be more/less motivated knowing 4 sure?
-
What James' book is abt. How fully accepting death rather than finding ways to feel immortal focuses us on what's important
-
I think that is a good way to live. I certainly don't feel immortal, and I most certainly have doubt. "Taste death, live life"
