how are the "far" libertarian hardliners a problem tho? just asking....... cause i am curious.......

What do they want that could be described as 'far' by which I mean 'extreme?'
-
total freedom of speech... everyone i know irl thinks i am a nutjob for even suggesting that.........
-
Do you just mean expressing whatever ideas you want? Not talking abt slander, breaking confidentiality, harassment?
-
if somebody is fucktard, it should be allowed to say they're a fucktard, if thats whatchu mean...
-
Sure, you just can't corner them and force them to listen. They must have the freedom to ignore you.
-
well... i dont see how you could force anyone to listen to anything anyways...
-
You can chase them down the street, harass them by phone & online, corner them etc. If not, fine.

Listening/empathising sounds like a great solution of what to do. Then separate problem of how to best get ppl to buy into it.
-
I think centre-left and centre-right concerned abt their extremes already realising they have their best allies in each other.
-
But what about the ones entrenched in the extremes? How to get them to join too?
-
We can try to persuade by speaking to their concerns at the same time as outnumbering them & providing better options.
-
One definite non solution is not trying at all I guess. Just thinking about ways to get more ppl to hop on board to begin with.
-
Speaking to their concerns rather than vilifying and name-calling.

It's surely the broadly 'Liberal' centre that's blown it.
-
Nah, we mostly just want equality & diversity of ideas and to not be associated with the identitarian, PC language police
