A justified fear of being labelled a bad person even tho you know your motivations to be good can legitimately be called a fear of shaming

Its a plausible explanation for discrepancy between what ppl said on polls & what they voted in private.

This should predict some other things -- like that the polls of same ppl got other races right. I've seen contrary claims.
