Sorry, that doesn't mean anything to me.
No, Eric. This is not the time for abstract Libertarian arguments. There are real-world consequences happening right now.

In my opinion, there is only one fix. The solution is to not grant government power over those issues.
-
Great. You go do that.
-
Okay, hint taken. Maybe I go away for a bit.
-
Any chance of keeping you but losing the Libertarian evangelism or do they come as a package?
-
if you ever want a political solution from me, it'll be a libertarian one. But we can talk about other things. :)

like wine. Did you start early?

Okay, then IF say abortion becomes illegal in the USA, what is the solution to fix that?
-
Would there be a legal solution? Eventually probably. But until then it would just be done illegally. Not gonna stop.
-
correct. And women would suffer physically and otherwise.
-
Strongly agree with #2 and #3 in your linked article. Not sure I get how the abortion ex relates to your point though. Clarify?
-
First off, thanks very much for reading it. Second, government should not be deciding on abortion. Keep it legal.
-
Isn't government what made it legal in the first place?
-
Not sure that's possible either, considering our govt consists of religious people who have strong convictions about abortion.
-
Right. And I'm certain that's the major reason it was illegal in the first place.
