Christian cousin & I very close. She feels it would be dismissive of my views to say 'God bless' to me as she does to every1 else on leaving

Is this what happens when you take religion out of the equation? You get down to saying what really matters?
-
These thoughts triggered by
@GodDoesnt's forthcoming Life in Light of Death. Not only religion that distracts us from what matters tho.

I find it difficult to tell ppl I love them. Unless they're a child or a dog, that is.
-
My mother tries to get my dad & me to say this to each other. She thinks we'll regret it if we don't. I don't think so.
-
Mum: Tell your daughter you love her! Dad: She's alright, I suppose. Me: He's tolerable in small doses. We know what we mean!

We need more Christians like your cousin.
-
She's not a very Christian Christian. God is essentially a benign figure who agrees with her and looks out for people she loves.
-
Many Christians are like that, at least in this part of the world. Ireland is full of them.
