Because its already a fact that babies grow inside women! We don't choose to be the ones who decide whether to do this or not.

Men can't decide whether women abort or not. They can only decide whether to impregnate them or not.

They cannot decide whether to impregnate them, any more than women can decide to be impregnated.

Don't be ridiculous. We have successfully prevented this from happening for 30 yrs & made it happen when we chose.

They can decide to reduce or maximise the possibility, certainly. But neither sex can 'decide' that impregnation will occur.

Just advocating a bit of humanity here. Emotional & psychological wellbeing is an issue AS WELL as men's financial rights.

Its not fair for men to be forced to pay for babies they didn't want. Its not fair for all responsibility to be on women either

The woman is under no obligation to take on that responsibility. But I think I see your point: she may be->

Yes. Its an emotional thing but having children is! Men are not without agency. They know the risks of sex.

One of the risks of sex is pregnancy. As you've pointed out, that risk only affects one partner .

The consequences of someone freely taking a risk with their own body. Why should anyone else be responsible?

Let's leave it. My argument is basically for compassion & empathy. Take that out of the equation & doesn't matter.

Then there's no difference between choosing to end a pregnancy & choosing to pay a bill.

'Choosing' to pay a bill? If there was choice, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

That is what we're talking abt. The choice to walk away w/out contributing to child being same as choice to abort

Yes! Women have to be accountable! They must go through abortion or pregnancy. Either is responsible.

Birth isn't, per se, being responsible. It can happen in (& sometimes because of) the absence of responsibility.
