So, now I've met two Iranian students who shyly admit to liking dogs now they've got the chance to observe them as pets in Ireland.

Islam is nice to cats. Don't think the prophet hated dogs - more that they're seen as unclean & hence unsuitable as pets.

I'm prepared to tolerate different views on a variety of things. The wonderfulness of dogs & tea are the exceptions.
