Not a flaw. Prof in question is defending freedom of speech. Not freedom of speech in a particular tone.https://twitter.com/ColinLusk/status/789764132132229124 …
Prof is not demanding that no-one be annoyed by his speech. He just wants the right to choose his own.

I am suggesting its OK to be annoyed & to respond proportionately in a way that might annoy him.Rather than deny FOS
-
He can then either be consistent & support their right to do so or get annoyed & write a thing & undermine himself,

I'm sure there are a lot of things you could say to me that would wind me up but that doesn't mean I am gagging you

If he gets angry at *other ppl using free speech in same way he wants.* Not if he ever gets angry abt anything.
-
"are we there yet?"=free speech "are we there yet?"x 1000 means I am going to be to get annoyed legitimately
-
...And that ultimately, was my point about the way you use the pronoun.

@addamschloe with whatever you end up doing. I hope it is productive.

-
I have clarified this. Thought it clear I meant 'If he objects to ppl doing what he is asserting the right to do."
