If I were a student who felt misgendering to be a urgent problem, various proportionate & reasonable ways to address it would be open to me.

If I were a student of U of T, I wld not actually do anything as I think Peterson is being reasonable.

I wld personally make a moderate amount of effort to use preferred pronouns but I don't think it should be obligatory.

I think it does. You can't demand other people address using terms they don't believe in. eg gender neutrality.
