Apparently, skeptics have 'faith' in reason -so they shouldn't criticize people who have faith that a god sits in the sky and judges us.

I suppose one could argue that reason actually works whereas religion doesn't AND it isn't actually true. But, that's just me being pedantic

Yes, exactly. Where 'faith' can be replaced with 'confidence for good reason' it is not the kind of faith we criticise.
