Patriarchy means a system in which men power to control women or have access to power & women are excluded from it.

Women have disadvantages due to pregnancy & being weaker physically & some pressures re: motherhood, appearance, sexuality etc

If we assume discrimination keeps women from politics or physics, must assume it also keeps men from medicine & teaching.
