@YeyoZa @nikkidarz At which point it wouldn't be gender studies, it'd be biology.
There really is no reason for gender studies
-
-
-
Well, what would you call the study of psychological & cognitive gender differences? Obv biology key to that
-
Depends what they're studying. Biology can be replicated as many times as required, junk science can't be.
-
Psychological and cognitive gender differences. I'm advocating studying them rigorously using science & data.
-
Doubtful it's possible. If the data were sound, these SJW feminists wouldn't have to resort to jargon and feelings
-
The SJW feminists don't go anywhere near the data. This comes from evolutionary psychologists & objective studies.
-
My mistake, misunderstood you. Evolutionary psych vs evolutionary bio isn't something I understand well enough to debate
-
If you're at all interested, I recommend The Norwegian Gender Paradox & the debate between Pinker & Spelke on Youtube

You mean, Not-gender studies.
-
I mean studying cognitive & psychological gender differences using data & science. 1/2
-
.
@alexlee387@CHSommers "Gender Studies" can either mean the messy courses that exist now or as the study of gender which is a valid field.

@CHSommers@nikkidarz Like to c "gender is#a social construct" fems investigate noise at 3am @ their pad. Bet they won't. -
They don't usually claim no size & strength difference but need to stop denying psychological ones too.
-
We are also different psychologically. Women r great at identifying probs & men are great @ solving them.
-
Depends on the kind of problem. Also so much overlap exists, it doesn't do to make divides.pic.twitter.com/0p6aFTYumu
-
Yes it may. Women can handle the stress of kids, but most can't make it into Special Forces. Hell, most men can't lol.
-
Yes. My husband more nurturing & patient with kids but he'd also do better in special forces! He's a doer. Im more analytical
-
Men & women have different strengths and weaknesses. We balance each other out.
-
Except that it doesn't work that neatly & telling ppl they shld be a certain way is harmful. I'll never be nurturing.

Yes, I keep reminding people that active commitment to gender equality exists outside feminism in mainstream right now.pic.twitter.com/kswwnGPo0R

I'm happy to let it go & work for a gender equality that comes from both sides. Shall I untag you,
@nikkidarz? -

I don't think so and if so, it needn't be one that focuses on one side only and is associated with so much ideology.
