.@sjzara Someone who really thinks their religion is true & hell is real & has any compassion for others can only be horrified by blasphemy.
The claim that literal interpretations of faith are only accepted by radical extremists & anti-theists is fairly accurate.

Believing in things w/out evidence can result in anything from killing apostates to homeopathy. "But it can be comforting!" isn't an answer.

We have psychological needs that religion answers but this doesn't mean that its the right answer.
