Is it true? Is it ethical?Accommodating error for practical reasons is annoying. Accommodating human rights abuses is abhorrent
-
eg "Pretend religion is compatible with science so religious people don't oppose science" = unprincipled and annoying.
-
"Ignore the fact that Saudi Arabia denies human rights & equality on a massive scale coz we want oil" = unprincipled & abhorent
-
