The idea that people should shut up about their own political views after being outvoted is democratic, apparently. https://twitter.com/RupertMyers/status/786066490093137920 …
Violence is not a good reason. If remainers were threatening to riot if Brexit went ahead, not a good reason not to.

But yes, if gov said referendum was a decider rather than an opinion poll, it shld stick to it. We can still point out problems.
-
Oh by all means talk out the problems, and even argue for rejoining after Brexit has been carried out. But no incitement.
-
I'll let people talk abt the legalities & whether referendum should stand.
-
I gather it will be tested in the courts, but I see little chance of the courts overturning it.
-
I think its just going to happen.
-
Yes, it does look as if Brexit of some description is going to happen. Whether that leads to good or bad is up to us as a nation
-
Doubtful. We as a nation can't decide how Europe deals with us. My job & my husbands both rely on the EU. Can't fix that.
-
We as a nation are responsible for our collective future. Just as we would still have been if we had voted to remain.

Violence is the outcome not the reason. The reason is respecting the will of the people and carrying it through - democracy.
-
If it is. Scotland have a good point that its not theirs. Ppl pointing out regret from leavers & asking 4 2nd also relevant.
-
So-called regret from a handful of supposed leave voters really does not hold water. Can campaign for referendum to rejoin.
-
Don't know extent of it. Number of ppl googling 'What is the EU" & "What does leaving the EU mean" afterwards was worrying.
-
I think there was an argument for a second referendum to be sure it represented the will of the people.
-
An argument along those lines can be made, but unlikely to be successful in real world - we don't re-run close elections.
-
No but this is a referendum abt something that will change things possibly forever.
