Individual freedom vs duty to ppl who love you is something I'm thinking abt a lot at the moment. Where is the line?

I feel sad when I see ppl never coming out as gay/lesbian or pretending to be religious for fear of hurting/worrying loved ones.

Of course it's up to the individual, but you can't pretend to be something you're not just to spare a loved one's feelings.

I tend to think that as long as ppl ask themselves these questions, they can't go too far wrong.
