Could it be joint hypermobility?
Who knows abt 'trigger finger?' The child's little finger is sticking out at a weird angle unless she makes effort to hold it straight. 1/2

Unlikely. Happened just tonight and the finger is pulling away. Seems like a tendon.
-
ok, hopefully she's not in too much pain.
-
Tingling and achy. Asleep now so can't be that bad. :)
-
Good for her, losing hrs of sleep in A&E waiting room not a nice prospect.

Does she play an instrument or some repeated movement?
-
No but she has weird tendons so fairly sure it's this. Its hard to sleep when her little finger feels like its trying to escape
-
Yeah, it can effect fingers &/or thumbs. She could a brace at night to see if it calms the sensation.
-
Hopefully the doctor will recommend something tmrw. For tonight, I've just bound it loosely to the next one with ribbon. OK?
-
Ribbon or first aid tape etc.
