I don't think so! Anglo-American feminism is what has become so warped. French feminism is just weird & opposed to radfem ideas.

I use French feminism - most Kristeva - academically coz their essentialist ideas of gender mirror that of Xtianity historically

I don't think Wollstonecraft used the term did she? Thought it arrived in the 1890s in France.

She didn't. But it's that trad that interests me, starting earlier, around time of Mary Astell.
