People need to be taught to separate feelings from thoughts from actions. Permissive parenting doesn't.

And to evaluate their own feelings honestly. So easy to blame other ppl when source is so often within yourself.

I can be oversensitive & its too easy to accuse others of being insensitive. They shld have known exactly how hurt I'd be!

When actually I need to think abt whether my feelings are reasonable. Realising when they're not actually stops the hurt.

For me, it is being with the feeling, accepting that I'm allowed to feel that way, and moving on.

Allowed to but not necessarily right to. I often realise my initial feelings were wrong.
