@LynneAvVer I'm fine with teasing, but please don't frame it as "boys will be boys." Also must respect when they say "stop."

I've no problem with 'boys being boys' if no-one is being targeted with intent to hurt. Being a boy is not a crime.
-
And yes, 'leave me alone' shld always be respected. If a person overdoes it, consequences will be loneliness.

@LynneAvVer issue isn't that spitballs are an irritation, it's where the line is drawn. Some people growing up have no lines. -
Absolutely! Bullying is the line. When a girl followed her arnd saying "Everyone hates you & thinks ur a weirdo" 4 wks.
-
She reported it. Not banter. Nastiness intended to hurt & continual. Next yr, she felt able to deal with it alone.
-
I've also never really done banter myself, but I do like to watch other people do it. I find your discussions quite amusing.

@DerekGT@LynneAvVer Yes. What a terrible world it would be if we all took ourselves and others seriously all the time. -
.
@Si_Copath Child currently ignoring a boy shouting 'Picknose' (Pluckrose) & taking bets on how extreme his attention seeking will get. Fun. -
Kids can be horrible at times. Glad your child has ability to ignore provocation. Boy won't win much if child has your patience.

When I'm asked if I want guac or salsa and I reply 'yes' it's appropriate I be teased endlessly and I shouldn't take this srsly.
