The more you study Christian history, the more you realise it was every bit as bad as the worst of Islam. Worse at some points.

This is of academic interest only. But its my area of academic interest. In human rights terms now, Islam is far worse.

But they simply cannot be exactly the same. These values are incredibly complex and hard to contrast.

I don't mean same amount of blood has been spilt. Think Xtianity still ahead on that but cld be wrong.

I mean same consequences for going against religion. Much, much death & Islam not doing anything Xtianity hasn't done.

Genital mutilation. There's been a little of that in Christianity but mostly not. That's one thing Islam doing differently.

Yeah, there are an incredible number of factors which makes any claims about them being perfectly equal unlikely.

You're being too literal. Read 'exactly same bloodshed' as 'making ppl just as dead in horrendously large numbers'

I was referring to the initial claim that started this that they're the same in over all intrinsic harmfulness.
