If most women only wanted to do that, I'd suggest that more of us would only do that (where affordable). We have a lot of choice.

Men & women have different strengths & interests in different degrees. The public sphere has jobs which call on all of them.

And we've only had reliable contraception for 50 years. Lets see what happens. Much change already tho I think trends will remain.
