If most women only wanted to do that, I'd suggest that more of us would only do that (where affordable). We have a lot of choice.

Most qualifying doctors are now female whilst most qualifying engineers are male. This seems to reflect differences in our nature

Some branches do and some don't. It usually rejects rigid gender roles but so most non-feminists & anti-feminists.
