.@HPluckrose That can be a very subjective thing, this “what I consider to be intrusive”, and we mustn’t base even vague social norms on it.
Mostly I am being facetious but I do also genuinely dislike inconsiderate noise & pressure to be sociable.

I don't go for 'made to feel' arguments but I do disagree with ppl advocating social norms I don't like.

Which is exactly my point: “I don’t like” shldn’t be a consideration in arguing (or even thinking) abt norms.
