If you disrespect anyone's political beliefs, religious beliefs, ANYTHING just because you don't agree with it, you have lost my respect.
Because this sense of respect is something that's earnt & its important to evaluate ideas & decide which are worthy of respect.

Do you mean something more along the lines of being polite to & considerate of *people* no matter what their beliefs are?
-
I meant what I meant. It's pretty self explanatory.
-
You literally meant we shld respect all beliefs? Even if they're a) not true & b) misogynistic, racist homophobic? Condemn none?
-
I mean that we should respect everyone's beliefs. We shouldn't bash others because of their different beliefs. That's not right
-
Two different things. Can I not hate some beliefs but not bash people who hold them? Unless they inflict them on me.
-
I'm not saying you can't, but don't disrespect a person directly. You're allowed to have your opinion. But so are they.
-
Respect the right to beliefs, be polite to people with beliefs you dislike, yes. Respect the beliefs themselves, no.
-
I see what you're saying.
