A skeptic is not someone who disagrees with any claim. Its someone who requires evidence to believe in things.
Course we'd need some evidence of said super being before it becomes a serious proposition. 1/2

Yes. It would be ridiculous to simply assume its existence or propose it as an explanation.
-
Also changes the problem coz if a god exists, he is an earlier form of life & have to work his origins out
-
may not be ur area of interest.r u open 2 the option tht single cell may not hav cum frm random event? Yes or no?
-
Of course. I'll go with the evidence. Might well have been inevitable like evolution. Something that's bound to happen.
-
Is anyone arguing it was a random occurrence? Not something which wld naturally occur as a result of normal circumstances?
-
Leave any1. Am asking u. So u don't believe it was a random event tht happened on its own?
-
Also 'random' is not the same as 'on its own.' Rain happens on it's own but is not random coz part of a natural process.
-
Got it. So you think there must have been a cause behind that event that led to creation of a single cell. Correct?

But yes, even if a god existed & caused it, life began where there was none.
