Undermine liberal forms of Islam so you can oppose all Islam more conveniently.
If reform has limited or no effect we'r bit better off or no better off than if it didn't exist

No. Any reform (failed/v minimal) will come at expense of de-Islamization and protecting democracy.

What makes you think so?
-
please do the maths. If reform fails, and Muslim reaches 60-70% in 2150 democracy will end
-
can you honestly see *any* other outcome if those are the demographics and reform fails?
-
Helen, can you name one Muslim majority country that you would happily live in today?
@kew_van@HPluckrose@iain_mk2@m_katoen -
Why are you asking me this? Have I ever said anything to suggest I would? Of course not.
-
Sure. So doesn't it give indication of perils of large Muslim population and that reform unlikely?
@HPluckrose@kew_van@iain_mk2@m_katoen -
I don't know how successful reform will be in the long term. Its still a good thing.

We're certainly not worse off. Every Muslim who becomes more liberal helps liberal society.
