Pressure reformers 2 stop making Islam acceptable so u can say it isn't & must go?
Do you think Islam true or man-made invention? If latter,why oppose it being remade into something better

You wdn't take this approach with Nazism. As a secularist, why take that approach to evil religious ideology?
@HPluckrose@kew_van@iain_mk2 -
If someone was making a form of Nazism which was abt human rights, equality & freedom, I'd be OK with it
-
Well at this point, language and words, which articulate ideas and also facts, have no objective meaning.
@HPluckrose@kew_van@iain_mk2 -
Which sadly means even this exchange is pointless because squeaky rubber chicken hairy backside.
@HPluckrose@kew_van@iain_mk2 -
The problem is that 'Nazi' doesn't mean that. Some forms of Islam do so I've no ethical problem.

If one accepts that it is man-made (which I do) - why is it needed at all?
-
Its not. Religion is a blight on humanity which should be overcome.
-
Or at the very least folk shld keep it to themselves & not make other creatures suffer for it
-
That's what we must enforce, yes. Getting rid of religion is an intellectual exercise.
-
Some people need 'something' to believe in. ..But 'beliefs' can't have special protection.
-
I don't think so. Living a delusion is not better for anyone. But must have the right to.
-
They can believe what they like. As long as they don't expect 'get outs' from the Law.
-
I'm agreeing with you. Religious freedom a right. No privilege.
