Helping to spread validity for baseless conspiracies is a strange way to do that

It's not spreading validity for baseless conspiracies.

Yes, it is. That’s what you don’t understand.

No. I find certain people use concepts like free speech, “entertaining possibilities” & other liberal values in certain situations to advance their own agendas
It’s becoming quite obvious. I find questioning conspiracies great- I find their timing to question this suspicious

You're entertaining this problem as a conspiracy theory, just saying.

You are rather, Elle! I do think we can entertain all kinds of possibilities without it being suspicious. There were people who were sure they knew exactly who & why and it conveniently fit their politics but I don't think that would be a fair evaluation of Bret.

I usually trust your judgement of people’s motivations so I will accept your assurances & move on. I would say that you should seriously question why he is saying this specific issue should be questioned & what impact his words have in the general discourse.

I’d also request that you consider the possibility that people are seeing something that you aren’t seeing. Specifically with regards to meanings behind words & phrases. I’m sure you understand how certain people use words that have both a direct & hidden meaning/intention

Its always true that people will see things others don't see. This is how I am regularly seen as an SJW, a TERF and alt-right. Literally everyone can say this about everything. I am constantly amazed at the dogwhistles I apparently make for all sorts of things.

You are not usually an uncharitable mindreader so I suspect patterns are forming in your mind which are not forming in mine and we're also probably forming quite a lot of the same ones about certain mentalities, cliques and individuals. Some of them will be accurate. Others not.

Fair enough. Maybe I am wrong and I jumped to an uncharitable conclusion. Only time will tell. Thank you for engaging cordially as usual & not assuming I have bad intentions. See ya
