Religions need postmodernism. Postmodernism actually does real good when let loose on religion. It allows people to reconceptualise what were previously thought of as immutable truths as something more ironic and pliable.

I don't get why we need postmodernism to have satire about religion/politics. Read "The Frogs" by Aristophanes c.427ish BC and he pretty expended enough sarcasm to warm my heart a couple of millennia later.
-
Because of the postmodernist meta-textual approach in which 'truth' is treated as just one more narrative among many. Which is actually quite a good approach when the 'truth' refers to religious dogma.
-
It does defang it to quite an extent but it makes it doubly annoying and it can still go sour when postmodernism evolves and weakens and takes on activisty stuff

To any non-British person passing by: Do you have a decent British female text-to-speech voice installed in your system? Yes? Have it read Pluckrose's tweets for you. Game changer. Trust me. LOL

I meant that in good spirits...Cause when you hear it with a British accent, the flavors gain ten fold... And extra-bonus: i have the Queen voice. Oh. that one is the mostest.
