No, I am not going to lose today to arguing about definitions of 'woman' and 'gender' in relation to trans issues. I co-wrote this piece on the subject which covers all I have to say about it.https://areomagazine.com/2017/09/27/an-argument-for-a-liberal-and-rational-approach-to-transgender-rights-and-inclusion/ …
You can talk about trans people and normal people if you like, obviously. Others prefer a more neutral word.

Sure. Let's cede some more linguistic ground to rabid identitarians. They know when to stop. How come this language overhaul needs to happen now? Haven't trans people been around forever? Language is important. Words mean something.
-
Language is constantly evolving and new words being invented. There is no need to define yourself as 'cis' and few people do but we do need a word to describe people who are not trans when discussing trans issues. It's not a conspiracy. It's just supply & demand & communication
-
There is no need...for now. Although I'm not sure, to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Twitter or FB would censor someone for using "normal" instead of "cis". Can you honestly say you would be surprised? The market of communication is corrupt to the bone. Not free.
