OMG! Workmen finishing the kitchen so I ordered dinner. Decided to be adventurous and go for Mexican. Made up my own burritos. The restaurant just called to confirm that I genuinely wanted something this flavourless. Bloody cheek! #Microaggression

Well, that was a very yummy dinner of sliced beef and rice burrito. Yes, I anglicized it by removing all spicy sauces and dipping it in English mustard but I am unapologetic about this. Also surveys repeatedly Mexicans to be the least likely people to give a fuck about this.

Sounds like "Mexican" ought to have been in quote marks. 😂 #NoOffenseLivedInMX

A few years ago. The waiter in a pizzeria tried to talk me out of taking away a slice of pizza that was uneaten. Seemed to be the most ridiculous request he had ever heard. He insisted it would be inedible if re-heated.

Cheekiness is everywhere. Many years ago I lived in India for a while, but b/c I’m white the Indians would always assume I wanted everything bland (I thank the British for that). It got very old explaining I’m from Southern California & grew up on hot, spicy food.
