These aren't real people who are interested in a genuine argument. They know perfectly well they would lose any serious intellectual engagement with you. They simply want to annoy you off twitter, your voice is too damaging to their terrible ideas.

Oh I think it’s typically worse than this. They have an idea that they hold sacrosanct - it is TRUE! They KNOW they’re right so don’t even begin to engage with a though process that may threaten the ideals they’re putting forward.
