        I had this argument with an instructor in Kierkegaard at the Inst of Thomism back in 2005. Still hard to accept that even Christians are saying we can know things without knowing those things are also “true.”

        Do you honestly think most Christians have any clue who Kierkegaard is/was? I don’t know that I’ve met a Christian yet who knows about him. Admittedly, I don’t tend to ask as we shake hands for the first time.

        The fact that any Christian would say that is way off base. “Most Christians” are just nominal “I was raised that way, and I didn’t decide to switch religions” people, anyway. I don’t even think most nominal ones go to church, unless you consider football “Christian.” :/
