Y'all are beating a dead horse if you think you can move the needle on the cult of grievance studies.

Where do you see the needle as being?
-
Deeply embedded in the universities. It's wholly taken over most of the humanities at this point. I'm not even sure how one goes about disentangling it. Your papers pointed out a serious class, but as near as I can tell the majority have bought into the principle behind it.
-
And yet ideas do change. The universities were once dominated by religion.
-
A good point, and this has all the hallmarks of a rapidly evolving religion, one with a rather organic growth whose direction I haven't quite understood yet. Like the power of specific movements within it seems unpredictable.

Has “right wing watch” tried to character assassinate this study yet?
-
Not to my knowledge!
-
Yeah, saw that... thanks!

The sane left is held hostage by the insane left, as any attempts to build bridges with the sane right to salvage discourse and build a future is seen as "treason", and "working with the enemy".

This video gave me nausea. :( I am listening to the audio, without watching.
-
I posted this below the vid as well: If you clean house on the left, then 99,9% of the people on the right will be supportive or at least indifferent about it. Some significant percentage on the left will attack you for it. That's just simple mathematics, and nothing else.
-
Especially those with a platform on the left are just seeing which way the wind blows, because they have bills to pay, and don't want to lose their viewers/listeners over this, so they're virtue signaling for now. Don't be put down by it.
-
I'm quite certain that the large majority on the left (without a platform) are quite supportive of what you guys do.
-
Did you mean that to be related to my comment about the handheld camera-induced queasiness? It was just a warning for people who suffer: listen to the audio only. Not meant to be a comment on the content of the video!
-
Oh, I thought you were getting nauseous because of the attacks from the left! It was meant as support for the good work of Helen (and you).
-
Thank you! The support is appreciated! No offence was meant to
@MikeNayna: I’m just sensitive to handheld camerawork.
