It is very common to have intuitive behaviours which alleviate anxiety in the short term but increase stress in the long term. I suspect feeling the need to make sure everyone is feeling OK is one of them. Learn to let them deal with it themselves & reduce your unoffical workload

I've dipped in & out of this thread. I am a people pleaser & it has made things at times quite miserable but I've started to learn to say no to going above & beyond. The first time I did I felt bad but also exulted. There is no joy playing the martyr, esp when no-one asked me to.
