Uh oh. People are talking about me in Dutch. This typically bodes very well or very badly and nothing in the middle!

"Dutch profanity can be divided into several categories. Often, the words used in profanity by speakers of Dutch are based around various names for diseases." Helen is influenza! "Helen is griep!" per Google translate.🤣

It's diseases (kanker, tering, typhus (it depends a bit on the region which disease is used most frequently, I come from a "tering" region of the Netherlands)) or genitals (kut and klote most of the time). :)

And we can add words, so I can call you for example "Een vieze, vuile, gore teringtyphuskankerleijer" if we got into a heated argument about you blocking a street and I must pass with my car. Since that's the kind of arena these arguments are most often used.

I am guessing that means she's a dirty typhus cancer something or other per Google translate?😀

It means someone who suffers of tyhpus, cancer and tuberculoses who is dirty and not very capable of taking care of him/herself. :) But don't say it ever unless you are either a martial arts champion or a superattractive woman wearing a miniskirt.

Dutch curses are interesting. Instead of being about sex and excretion, they are all about cancer (kanker in Dutch) and other diseases.
