I would love to change that. The evidence-based, rigorous, striving for objectivity system you advocate for would be of clear value to society. I don't see a path of reformation for grievance studies.

Postmodernism cannot compromise by design. It will simply go meta on any value system, like standards of objectivity, you attempt to use to criticize or evaluate it. With no value system, GS institutions are pure power and careerism. How can you reform that? What am I missing?

I'd argue most people who go into the various "studies" fields, do so out of an interest in self-understanding, with the hope of making the world a better place, starting w learning about various issues. ie. well-intentioned. And then they get caught up in a lot of BS & jargon.
